International Baccalaureate Program
The International Baccalaureate develops the whole student. The program teaches students to think critically and encourages them to make connections between learned disciplines and the real world.
Lamar Primary Center, Washington Jackson Elementary, Kirby Junior High and Hirschi High School are authorized International Baccalaureate World Schools.
Lamar Primary Center and Washington Jackson Elementary are authorized Primary Years Program IB World Schools and Kirby Junior High and Hirschi High School are authorized Middle Years Program IB World Schools. Hirschi High School also offers the Diploma Program and has been an authorized DP school since 1998.
