District Advisory Committee Charge:
 
Advise the superintendent in matters of:
  • District goals and objectives
  • Staff development
  • Major instructional initiatives
Meetings:
  • October
  • February
  • June
Composition of Committee:
  • Four (4) parents of WFISD students
  • Two (2) community members
  • Two (2) business representatives (need not reside nor operate in WFISD)
  • Four (4) campus-level administrators
  • Two (2) district-level administrators
  • Twelve (12) teachers (six from elementary and six from secondary)
Membership Term:
Each member is elected or selected annually and shall be limited to one term on the committee.

A separate nomination process is conducted for
district personnel to serve on the committee.
