Sheppard AFB Elementary held its 6th Annual International Fair on March 19th.  There were over 20 countries represented!  Students put a great deal of work into an in-depth study of their country. Each student centered their research around the 8 TEKS (Strands) for World Cultures, which include Government, Economics, Geography, Citizenship, History, Culture, Science, Technology, & Society, & Social Studies Skills. The students brought in artifacts, prepared dishes, and dressed in clothing native to the following represented countries:

France, Thailand, Ireland, Italy, Russia, Jamaica, Ethiopia, Japan, England, Austria, Chile, Mexico, Philippines, Greece, Canada, Australia, Peru, Dominican Republic, Spain, China, Germany, South Korea and Paraguay.
