Turning in your Sikes Senter Mall receipts gives
us a chance to win money for our school.

We have won money for our school the past two years.
Receipts dated from August 17, 2012 are eligible for this year's contest.

Receipts can be turned in to your child's teacher
or they will be gracefully accepted in the office.

A new program for Washington Jackson to encourage learning to the highest level. Please click on the Step Up University icon to watch the video for more details.

Saturday school is available free of charge at the Anderson Chapel every Saturday.

This is a wonderful program for students who are struggling or would just like a little extra help. It is provided by your community.

I am a responsible member of the Washington Jackson family. I am ready to learn and will meet the challenges set forth by my teachers. I will work hard and be respectful to myself and those around me. I AM successful!

It's NEVER too Early to join PTA!

Washington Jackson Elementary PTA is enrolling members for the 2012-2013 school year. Joining the PTA at WJ will help provide programs and services for students, parents, and teachers. You can join with the dues of $8.00 for a single membership. The goal of WJ's PTA is to have as many members as we have students. We are currently recruiting parents, guardians, grandparents and community members, so please consider joining if you have not already!

It is the mission of Washington Jackson Elementary School to provide a

learning center of excellence and high achievement for all students.
