Harrell Accelerated Learning Center is an accredited high school that meets the needs of non-traditional students in the Wichita Falls Independent School District. The non-traditional student is:
the student needing flexible class schedules
the student who has a family to support
the student that has dropped out of high school
the student who is having difficulty staying in school or
the student who is behind in credits.
Programs Offered At Harrell A.L.C. The non-traditional student is offered several programs to meet special needs. High School Diploma program GED (General Education Development) program Pregnancy Education & Parenting Program Individualized curriculum
Activities In addition to the academic training, several other activities are offered at Harrell. Campus Crime Stoppers COOP Work Program JROTC Cadet Program
| Curriculum The curriculum at Harrell is especially designed for the student to accelerate and complete the required course work needed for a high school diploma and/or GED. The classes are open entry/open exit and the subjects offered are: English, Math, Social Studies and Science Computer Technology JROTC Marketing and other vocational courses TAKS preparation

We offer a unique approach to providing an outstanding educational opportunity for the non-traditional students of the Wichita Falls Independent School District. Whether working toward a diploma or a GED, the non-traditional student will be given the opportunity to graduate. Harrell Accelerated Learning Center's programs are only available to student currently enrolled in the Wichita Falls Independent School District.
