National Merit Scholar Commended 
Brianna Nader, daughter of Charles and Jennifer Nader.  She attended Crockett, Kirby and WFHS.  She is active in band (concert, marching, jazz and pep) Science club, Cooking club and Math club. 

Parents who need to pick their child up during the school day, please do so before 11am or after 12:35pm.  It is difficult to locate students during the lunch period.

Mr. Dan Whitehead teaches English at WFHS.  He graduated from Wichita Falls High School and went on to earn his BA in English with a minor in Sport & Exercise Science from Midwestern State University.  He has been teaching for 20 years. Mr. Whitehead has taught at WFHS the past two years where he has assisted with the tennis team and now girls’ basketball. In 1981 he was awarded WFHS Class Clown.  Dan can ride a unicycle, juggle and play the harmonica all at the same time.  

The College & Career Center is here to assist all WFHS students in their post-secondary plans.  Our office is located in the back of the cafeteria (What we do..)

Lifetouch will be at WFHS on November 24th  to take senior yearbook photos.  If you have not had your senior photo taken with Lifetouch, here's your chance.  Senior portraits taken for the yearbook are free of charge.

As part of an overall security plan utilizing Raptor, campus visitors will need to show a state driver’s license or other state identification prior to accessing the building.  The id is scanned and the system runs an online background check that instantly screens individuals.
