The Preliminary SAT®/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test is a co-sponsored program by the College Board and National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) for 11th grade students,  PSAT 10 (in the spring) for 10th grade students and PSAT 8/9 for 8th & 9th grade students.

11th Grade Students:   PSAT/NMSQT stands for Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. It's a standardized test that provides firsthand practice for the SAT Reasoning Test™. It also gives high school juniors a chance to enter National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) scholarship programs.

9th Grade Students:    The PSAT 8/9 is a test that will help you and your teachers figure out what you need to work on most so that you’re ready for college when you graduate from high school. It tests the same skills and knowledge as the SAT, PSAT/NMSQT, and PSAT 10 — in a way that makes sense for your grade level.

As part of an overall security plan utilizing Raptor, campus visitors will need to show a state driver’s license or other state identification prior to accessing the building.  The id is scanned and the system runs an online background check that instantly screens individuals. When a visitor is cleared, a badge with the visitor’s name, photo, date, time and destination is printed..    RAPTOR Parent Letter
