EOC/TAKS Scores
 
Parents are invited to come by the school on June 19 from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm to pick up EOC/TAKS test results for their students.

WFHS Students have the opportunity to retest in July on EOC exams in other districts across the state, if needed.  Contact Michael Weaver, WFHS testing coordinator for more information.

Purchase Art Award

Congratulations to the following students who were selected as the 2013 Purchase Art Award Contest winners:

Each of these students’s artwork will go on permanent display at the Education Center.  They each will receive a $100 cash prize and will be recognized at the April 15th meeting of the WFISD Board of Trustees.

As part of an overall security plan utilizing Raptor, campus visitors will need to show a state driver’s license or other state identification prior to accessing the building.  The id is scanned and the system runs an online background check that instantly screens individuals. When a visitor is cleared, a badge with the visitor’s name, photo, date, time and destination is printed..    RAPTOR Parent Letter

Barbara Eckert and Doug Lincoln from the Class of '62 with Ms. Walker and Mrs. Reusch accepting gifts of $3000 to the Theatre program and the yearbook.  Their gifts for yearbook are to purchase new cameras and to help students purchase yearbooks.  The gift of $1000 to the theatre was to help upgrade the auditorium.  Thank you to the Class of '62.

Family Access (formerly Parent Self Serve)

Wichita Falls High School students have an exciting new on-line learning opportunity.  The Wichita Falls Independent School District has graciously provided all WFHS students access to Study Island.  Study Island is a research based instructional program that offers a variety of learning opportunities to include:

 

  • College-Level Study Guides
  • TAKS Test Preparation
  • End of Course Test Preparation
  • PSAT/SAT/ACT Preparation
  • Advanced Placement Test Preparation and Study Guides
  • Developmental Learning

 

Each student will be assigned his or her own personal access code for Study Island.  Study Island is a web based program that can be accessed through any internet connection, twenty four hours a day, seven days a week!
