  • PSAT/SAT Summer Camp 2017
     
    Students entering grades 8-12 are invited to sign up for PSAT/SAT camp. This is a great opportunity for practice before the real thing!
     
    • What?  Receive 9 hours of instruction on PSAT/SAT content and strategies, take a full-length practice test, and go over your results with timely feedback.
    • When?  Monday, May 29, through Friday, June 2.  Students can choose either a morning session or an afternoon session.
    • Where? Carrigan Center, 1609 Blonde St.
    • How much? Registration fee is $50 for WFISD students.

  • Commemorative 125th Anniversary Yearbook:

     
    Don't forget to purchase a commemorative 125th anniversary yearbook for your student. This is an excellent opportunity for your student to have memories for years to come and be a part of the history of Wichita Falls High School. Yearbooks may be purchased for $75 at www.yearbookforever.com. Prices will go up to $85 in March.

    Also, don't forget to celebrate your graduate with a senior ad. Senior ads are available for purchase at www.yearbookforever.com as well, but time is running out. Senior ads need to be made by February 3rd.

    If you have any questions or would like help in purchasing a yearbook or an ad, please call Heather Zimny in the journalism department at 940-235-1084 ext 32056.

  • New Enrollment Process for 2016-2017

    As of July 11th 2016 Parents/Legal Guardians will be able to enroll their student through the new online Enrollment process called InfoSnap. All enrollment forms that need to be completed will be located on this website.

    This new way to enroll your student can be done on any Computer, Laptop, Tablet, iPad, or even your iPhone. All you need is access to the internet, at home, the public library, wherever you can get online for about 30 minutes. No need to wait for forms to come home, and no more writer’s cramp.

    On or after July 11th 2016, please go to www.wfisd.net for more information and the link to the InfoSnap website.

    For Returning Students to WFHS    

    On or after July 11th 2016, The Parent/Legal Guardian will need an active email address to login and complete the enrollment process.

    NEW TO Wichita Falls High School ??? – On or after July 11th 2016 Parent/Legal Guardian of NEW Enrollees will need an active email address, and then they can go online to InfoSnap and complete the online forms before calling WFHS for an appointment to get a schedule created.

    Parent/Legal Guardian are required to provide the following when they arrive for finalizing enrollment with the Registrar Ms. Peterson.

    •  State Birth Certificate
    • Social Security Card
    • Shot Record
    • Proof of Residency  from one of the following:
    • Water Bill – within last 2 months
    • Gas bill – within last 2 months
    • Electric bill – within last 2 months
    • Rental/Lease Agreement
    • Parent/Legal Guardian’s photo ID.

    Congratulations to Clara Baker for being named a National Merit Finalist!
     
    Clara plans to pursue a degree in Engineering at University of Texas Tech University. She participates in student council, PALs, National Honor Society, Texas Alliance of Minorities in Engineering, Acapella choir, and Old High Singers. Clara is currently is currently enrolled in 5 AP classes and enjoys reading and hanging out with her little sister.
     
    Clara scored among the top 1% of all testers on the PSAT, among approximately 16,000 Semifinalists across the nation. These academically talented high school seniors have an opportunity to compete for some 7,500 National Merit Scholarships worth about $33 million that will be offered next spring. 
     

     Congrats, Clara, we're so proud of you!

Parents who need to pick their child up during the school day, please do so before 11 am or after 12:35 pm.  It is difficult to locate students during the lunch period.

As part of an overall security plan utilizing Raptor, campus visitors will need to show a state driver’s license or other state identification prior to accessing the building.  The id is scanned and the system runs an online background check that instantly screens individuals. When a visitor is cleared, a badge with the visitor’s name, photo, date, time, and a destination is printed.    RAPTOR Parent Letter
