International Baccalaureate Program
The International Baccalaureate develops the whole student. The program teaches students to think critically and encourages them to make connections between learned disciplines and the real world.
Lamar Primary Center, Kirby Junior High and Hirschi High School are authorized International Baccalaureate World Schools.
Lamar Primary Center is an authorized Primary Years Program IB World School and Kirby Junior High and Hirschi High School are authorized Middle Years Program IB World Schools. Hirschi High School also offers the Diploma Program and has been an authorized DP school since 1998.
Washington Jackson Elementary is awaiting its authorization.
