    New Data Drop Request Procedure

    Data drops

    1.  Login to the Eduphoria!
Helpdesk and enter in a Tech Support ticket requesting a new data drop(s). This ticket should include the room number, quantity, and the approximate area where they are to be placed in the room. It is always helpful to mark the locations on the wall with a sticky note or tape if possible.

    2. A campus technician will complete a site survey of the network drop situation in the room and pass the ticket along to the Desktop Services Manager for approval. Note: All drops must be approved by Technology before installation can take place. The campuses will be charged $90 per data drop to cover installation and materials costs. The ticket must include the proper budget coding and enough funds to cover the charges before installation occurs.
