The following agencies are able to provide assistance with your utilities.

Can assist in paying all or part of gas & electric bills. Must fill out application to see if you qualify. Need proof of income for past 30 days, picture ID, SS card, and current electric or gas bill. Accepts applications 9-3 Monday-Friday


Interfaith Ministries

Monday 9-2:45, Tuesday-Friday 9-10:45, and Tuesday/Thursday 1-2:45.

Must provide a termination notice, be a resident of Wichita County have S.S. card, and picture ID.

May assist present or past victims of domestic violence and/or sexual abuse and their non-offending families with deposit waivers for utilities.


Lifeline Telephone Service


Lifeline is a service that provides a discount basic monthly telephone rates. Family income must be at or below 150% of the federal poverty level and must be receiving assistance from any of the following programs: Medicaid, Food Stamps, SSI, and Section 8.


Lite-Up Texas


A low-income energy assistance program offered only during the summer months. May – August Family income must be at or below 125% of federal state poverty level.
