Capital Improvement Costs

  • When developing the Long Range Facility Plan, the district asked BYSP Architects to perform a faciity study on all of WFISD's existing buildings. The study evaluated what the cost would be to bring all facilities to a 2008 standard - the year the district's two newest elementary schools, Southern Hills and Scotland Park, were built. The study found that it would cost $170,750,671 to bring all of the schools to a 12-year-old (2008) standard over the next ten years.
