SHAC

  • shacSchool Health Advisory Councils (SHAC) have many important roles.  The SHAC works to support WFISD by carefully planning school health programming to ensure optimal health and wellness for students at all grade levels. Additionally, the SHAC reviews and makes recommendations regarding policies, strategies and curriculum options related to student health.  SHAC members are approved by the WFISD Board of Trustees and include a diverse group of stakeholders to include community representatives, parents, teachers and district staff.
