Fine Arts Feature: Grace Weaver
Grace Weaver, an art teacher at Barwise, shares a unique connection with the legendary Vincent van Gogh – a passion for painting. Her artistic journey, however, took a different turn as she humorously notes, "He lost his ear, I almost lost my ear..." Beyond the canvas, Grace is on a linguistic adventure, dedicating 79 consecutive days and counting to her Duolingo streak as she endeavors to master Spanish.
Having expanded her artistic horizons, Grace had the opportunity to study abroad in London, where she immersed herself in the rich cultural tapestry of museums and artistic expression. Despite not having children of her own, she is surrounded by the joy of being an aunt to five nieces and nephews.
When not immersed in the world of art, Grace finds solace in the supernatural realm, with her favorite TV show being "Supernatural." Embodying resilience and optimism, she draws inspiration from the quote, "All lights turned off can be turned on," attributed to Noah Kahan, reminding us of the power to find light even in the darkest moments.
