Fine Arts Feature: Loy Studer

Loy Studer, Director of Bands & Orchestra at Rider High School, is a dedicated educator with deep ties to Wichita Falls ISD. He and his wife, Jessica, have shared 27 years of marriage, while Loy's educational journey includes Fain, Barwise, and Rider schools, as well as the University of North Texas.

Beyond his passion for music and teaching, Loy finds solace at the beach or in the magic of Disney World. He's also an avid University of Alabama fan, proudly exclaiming "Roll Tide!"

Loy's favorite quote, by Vince Lombardi, reflects his philosophy: "If you'll never settle for anything less than your best, you will be amazed at what you can accomplish in your life." As Rider's Maestro of Music, Loy Studer continues to inspire students to strive for excellence in all they do.
