Freeman Named WFISD Athletic Director

Congratulations to Grant Freeman who has been named the new Athletic Director for WFISD. Coach Freeman has served as the Athletic Coordinator and Head Football Coach at Wichita Falls High School since 2017. Prior to that, Coach Freeman worked as a Teacher/Coach for Brownwood ISD, Comanche ISD and Springtown ISD. He began his teaching career in San Angelo ISD in 2006.
Coach Freeman has a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from San Angelo State University and a Master of Education degree from Hardin-Simmons University.
He is assuming the role of Athletic Director after former Athletic Director, Scot Hafley, was promoted to the Executive Director of Operations role earlier this summer.
Coach Freeman will continue to coach the WFHS Coyotes Football team through the 23-24 football season.
