Kinne Named Principal at W.F. Memorial HS

Mrs. Laurie Kinne has been named as the W.F. Memorial High School Principal. Mrs. Kinne currently serves as the principal at Wichita Falls High School and the Director of Secondary Curriculum. She has more than 29 years of experience in public education as a teacher and administrator.

Mrs. Kinne received her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M Commerce. She also holds certifications in ELAR, physical education, and principal. Mrs. Kinne received her master's degree in Instructional Leadership from Texas Woman's University.

Mrs. Kinne served as the assistant principal of curriculum & instruction at La Vega High School in Waco until 2021. She served as the Buna Junior High principal in Buna ISD until 2022. Mrs. Kinne began the 22-23 school year as the Director of Secondary Curriculum for WFISD. In November 2022, Mrs. Kinne began serving as the Wichita Falls High School principal. Mrs. Kinne will remain the Wichita Falls High School principal through the 23-24 school year. We are excited that Mrs. Kinne will be leading Memorial High School when the building opens in August 2024.
