Meet Janet Burns, the dedicated Brook Village counselor, shining in our Staff Spotlight!
With 14 years in education, Janet's journey includes teaching 4th-grade Math, Science & Social Studies, 6-9 Math, 6-8 SS/History, and now excelling in her 8th year as a Counselor.
Family holds a special place for Janet. Married to Rodney Lynn for 4 years, she takes pride in her adult kids, Keeley and Cody, and cherishes her grandkids Braelynn (9), Benjamin (4), and Bubba (4).
As a US Navy veteran, Torpedoman's Mate 2nd Class, Janet contributed significantly, building nuclear and conventional torpedoes, steering ships underway, and ensuring ship security forces.
Janet's dreams include taking a cruise, visiting Australia, and post-retirement, exploring the US in an RV.
