Today's Staff Spotlight shines on Richard Friemel, a paraprofessional at Old High. Married to his beloved spouse Betty, Friemel is eagerly awaiting the arrival of his second grandchild. With 23 years of experience in the prison system, Friemel has cultivated a strong work ethic and a deep sense of responsibility.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Friemel finds joy and fulfillment in officiating volleyball and baseball games. He also loves the Texas Rangers.
Inspired by a quote from the iconic Rocky Balboa, Friemel lives by the mantra that success is not measured by avoiding hardships, but by enduring them with fortitude and perseverance. His dedication to his work, family, and community epitomizes the values upheld within Wichita Falls ISD, making him an integral part of the educational community at Old High.
