Teacher Tuesday: Jackie Coleman
Jackie Coleman is entering her 7th year in the teaching profession. Originally from New Jersey, she now proudly calls Wichita Falls home as she teaches and coaches at Barwise Middle School.
- 7th Year in Teaching: Jackie brings a wealth of experience to her role as a physical education teacher.
- From New Jersey to Texas: She made the cross-country move, leaving behind New Jersey's snowy winters for the warmth of Texas.
- Eagles Fan: Being from New Jersey, she is, of course, an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.
- Family Matters: Jackie's family includes two siblings and her beloved dog Raegan.
- Hobbies Galore: She's an ardent believer in the power of exercise and enjoys baking, often experimenting with new recipes.
- Favorite Quote: "Blessed are those who see beautiful things in humble places where other people see nothing." This quote reflects her outlook on life.
What truly sets Jackie apart is her deep appreciation for the simple beauty of everyday life. Her favorite quote mirrors her perspective, encouraging her students to find joy and beauty in the world around them, even in the most ordinary of places.
WFISD lucky to have Jackie Coleman as part of our educational family, and we can't wait to see the impact she continues to make in the years to come.
