Meet Amy Propp, a dedicated ELAR teacher at Jefferson Elementary celebrating her 11th year in education.
A Homegrown Educator
Amy's educational journey is a testament to her commitment to the community. She grew up attending Milam, Barwise, and Rider schools, ultimately graduating from Midwestern State University. Teaching in WFISD allows her to give back to the place that shaped her.
Beyond the classroom, Amy is a loving wife, having shared 23 years of happiness with her husband, Rob. Their family is completed by two sons, Aiden and Beckett. This devotion to family mirrors her dedication to her students, creating an environment where they feel valued and supported.
Amy's favorite dining spot is Qdoba.
In her downtime, Amy enjoys sipping sweet tea with a hint of lemonade.
Her favorite quote, "When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen." (Isaiah 60:22), reflects her patient and nurturing approach to education. She understands that each student has their unique pace and potential.
