Introducing WFISD Teacher Tuesday's spotlight: Chelsey Fanchier-Alsup, the Global Investigations teacher at Barwise Middle School. Chelsey's and her husband, Wade, are in the process of adopting a student from her Spring 2022 class, Alana, who is now a freshman at Old High.
Outside the world of academia, Chelsey and Wade share a love for the magic of Disney World, making it their favorite destination. Chelsey holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Midwestern State University.
One of Chelsey's unique talents is her proficiency in accents, with Australian being a standout.
Chelsey adores the wizarding world of Harry Potter. Her favorite quote, delivered with a touch of Snape's voice, is a declaration of mischief and adventure: "I solemnly swear I am up to no good."
