About PIE
Partners In Education exists to build effective community partnerships with schools in order to enhance student learning. Its roots in the Wichita Falls community go back more than 20 years, showcasing a multitude of partnerships that have improved public education in ways that support a more vibrant economy, the health of our community, and the well-being of local children and their families.
The Partners In Education program is overseen by January Cadotte, PIE Coordinator and managed at individual schools through Campus Coordinators. The PIE team works collaboratively to encourage academic and personal achievements, foster a conducive learning environment, cultivate and nurture community support, and bolster staff morale. In addition, an Advisory Board is authorized by the Wichita Falls ISD Board of Trustees to promote the creative involvement of partnerships, insure quality education by promoting PIE goals, inform the community of education efforts taking place within the district, and enhance communication that will offer partners the opportunity for direction interaction and rewarding involvement.
Partners In Education welcomes your involvement and encourages your participation through multiple avenues. Adopt a school – Become a mentor – Invest financially. Your giving in these ways helps to supplement the programs that already serve the district’s students and teachers while furthering the development of innovative, best practice, and sustainable initiatives that promote success.
Many who care about education in our community cannot give of their time and choose instead to provide financial support. To make a monetary contribution to Partners In Education, contact the PIE office at 940.235.1009 to discover more methods to invest in your community’s future. Donors will receive a Contribution Acknowledgement in receipt of their donation. Thank you to all of our PIE Partners who continue to invest in our students, campuses, and staff.
