As we prepare to open the doors to the 2025–2026 school year, I want to extend a heartfelt "Welcome Back!" to each of you. Whether you're new to our district or have been with us for years, we are thrilled to begin this journey together.

There’s something special about the first day of school—the fresh notebooks, the buzz in the hallways, the energy on our campuses. That excitement is alive and well across WFISD. This year brings new opportunities to learn, grow, and connect—and we can’t wait to see what our students will accomplish.

Our educators and staff have spent the summer preparing to create safe, inspiring environments where all students feel seen, supported, and challenged. From Pre-K to high school, every classroom will be filled with possibilities.

To our families: thank you for your continued trust. Your partnership is essential, and we are committed to maintaining strong, open communication throughout the year. Together, we can ensure that every child in WFISD is prepared not only for academic success, but for life beyond the classroom.
