State & Federal Programs

The Department of Federal and State Programs coordinates services for schools with a high percentage of children from low-income families and students who are at-risk of not graduating from high school. The department also applies for, manages, and oversees compliance of funds received through the State Compensatory Education Plan, the Every Student Succeeds Act, McKinney-Vento (Homeless Program), School Improvement Program, Impact Aid Program and any other supplemental grant funds used to promote students' academic growth and success. A variety of services such as Parent and Family Engagement, In-class Supplemental Support, Homeless Program, Enrichment and Accelerated Educational Programs, Professional Development, Technology Integration and College-Readiness Programs are supplemented through one or more of these programs.
