Transportation Facts and Figures

Wichita Falls ISD covers 82 square miles and resides in Wichita County. The District consists of three high schools, one alternative learning center, one career center, three junior high schools, fourteen elementary schools, and two Head Start centers. 

Beginning in August 2006, Wichita Falls ISD contracted transportation services through Durham School Services.

Durham School Services serves approximately 1,775 Wichita Falls ISD students twice per day. They currently operate 141 daily bus trips which includes Regular Education, Special Education, Head Start and various educational programs. The daily trips generate approximately 950,000 miles per year.
