• The Wichita Falls ISD Physical Education and Health Curriculum Department inspires students to make healthy decisions, develop social skills and pursue lifelong physical fitness.

To support the development of the whole child, all WFISD campuses participate in the Coordinated School Health initiative. CSH advances student academic performance by helping students  establish healthy behaviors designed to last their lifetime.

Please be advised that an age-appropriate human growth and responsibility unit focusing on health, safety and well-being is taught to Wichita Falls ISD 4-7 grade students, unless parents/families decide to opt out. The unit is taught to students in fourth through seventh grade throughout the school year and during a specific unit in the high school health education course. Parents will receive notification prior to the programs presentation and be given an opportunity to preview materials.
