Log splitters, anyone?It wasn’t too long ago that students in B.C. Gilbert’s Welding Technology class at the Career Education Center fabricated log-splitters in class and sold them for $45 apiece.
A teacher doesn’t always have to be at a student’s elbow to make sure learning happens. In Abi Parker’s music classroom at Franklin Elementary, students teach themselves as they rotate around to her many “stations.”
